Tootsie

The musical comedy adapted from the 1982 film. Michael Dorsey, an actor no one will hire, reinvents himself as Dorothy Michaels, lands the part of a lifetime and then has to live with it. The Broadway production won two 2019 Tony Awards, for Robert Horn’s book and Santino Fontana’s performance, and a US tour followed, opening in Buffalo in 2021 with Drew Becker as Michael.
