OFFSCRIPT Theatricals · Disclaimer
Everything OFFSCRIPT publishes — on this site, including Market Pulse and Investing Unpacked, and on our social channels — is Ankit Agrawal’s own opinion, published for education and information only.
Not advice, not an offer
Nothing on this site is investment, legal, tax or accounting advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to invest in, buy a ticket to, or avoid any production. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, any security. Investments in theatrical productions are made only through a production’s own offering documents, to persons eligible to receive them, and nothing published here forms part of any such documents.
Reading this site, subscribing, or writing to us does not make you a client of OFFSCRIPT or of Ankit Agrawal, and does not create any advisory relationship. Before making any investment decision, consult your own legal, tax and financial advisers.
The figures
Figures labelled as models are illustrative hypotheticals, not any specific production. Public figures are cited to their sources, and our methods are published on the methodology page; when we get something wrong we correct the post and say so. Even so, we make no warranty that anything here is accurate, complete or current, and posts reflect the data available on their date.
Our calls — “On watch” and “Watch for it” — are opinions about public market data, made to be scored in later issues. They are not forecasts of any production’s financial results.
Our interests
OFFSCRIPT produces, co-produces and invests in Broadway shows and tours, including productions discussed on this site. Portfolio shows are marked with a dagger (†) in our tables and named in each issue’s disclosure. We write about a business we have money in, and you should read everything here with that in mind.
Investing in live theatre is speculative and illiquid. Most productions do not recoup their capitalization, and an investor can lose the entire investment. Nothing about any past production says anything about any future one.
