L. Frank Baum’s The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, retold with a score rooted in soul and gospel. A tornado carries Dorothy from Kansas to Oz, where she joins the Scarecrow, the Tinman and the Lion on the road to the Wiz. The original 1975 Broadway production won seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical; this staging comes from the 2024 Broadway revival.
